800+ Companies to Unveil AI Innovations at Shanghai Conference Despite US Sanctions
Over 800 tech firms — from Chinese giants like Huawei and Alibaba to startups including Unitree and DeepSeek — are set to display over 3,000 AI innovations at the World AI Conference in Shanghai. Western players such as Tesla, Amazon, and Alphabet will also participate. Premier Li Qiang will emphasise China’s ambition to become the global AI leader by 2030. The event highlights China’s push for self-reliance amid escalating export restrictions from the US.
