Anthropic Brings AI Coding Agent Claude Code Directly to Slack

Anthropic launched its Claude Code AI coding assistant with a new Slack integration, moving agentic AI closer to developer workflows. The beta feature lets users assign full coding tasks—like fixing bugs or implementing features—by tagging @Claude in chat threads. Claude Code then autonomously works on the task, gathers context from the conversation, and provides progress updates and review links, significantly streamlining development.
