BharatPe Appoints Former Paytm VP Ajit Kumar as CTO

Fintech firm BharatPe has appointed Ajit Kumar, previously Senior Vice President of Engineering at Paytm, as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Effective October 23, 2025, Kumar will be responsible for spearheading BharatPe’s overall technology strategy and innovation agenda. His over 19 years of experience in building scalable fintech platforms and expertise in payments and UPI infrastructure are expected to be instrumental in strengthening the company's technology stack.
