Centre Gets 150 ECMS Proposals Worth ₹19,000 Crore to Boost Manufacturing

Under the Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS), the Indian government has received over 150 proposals totaling ₹19,000 crore in investments. Many are from smaller manufacturers focused on segments like multi-layer PCBs, electro-mechanical parts, passive components, and display/camera module sub-assemblies. The ₹22,919 crore scheme opened May 1, extended through summer after demand from smaller players.
