IIT Madras Launches AMOLED Research Centre with MeitY, DRDO, and Tata Sons Funding

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras has inaugurated the AMOLED Research Centre (ARC) to develop next-generation displays for devices like smartphones, tablets, and wearables. Funded by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), and Tata Sons, ARC aims to establish modular micro-factories for AMOLED display manufacturing, supporting India's self-reliance in advanced display technology.
