India Targets Exascale Supercomputing Leap by 2030

India's National Supercomputing Mission (NSM) 2.0, led by C-DAC, is shifting focus to exaflop-scale supercomputers to achieve a massive leap in computational power by 2030. These new indigenous machines will execute a quintillion calculations per second, enabling breakthroughs in fields like AI, quantum research, advanced weather forecasting, and disaster response, cementing India's technological self-reliance.
