IndiaAI Developers Ordered to Implement Strict Bias Checks in Models
The Indian government has instructed developers building Large Language Models (LLMs) under the IndiaAI Mission to make bias mitigation a top priority before deployment. Given the nation's diversity, models must undergo stringent stress testing to ensure they do not perpetuate caste, gender, or religious biases, promoting inclusive and non-discriminatory AI.
