Micron Restructures Business Units to Capitalize on AI-Driven Data Center Demand

Micron Technology has reorganized its business structure to better align with the surging demand for AI-centric memory solutions. The company has established a new "cloud memory business unit" dedicated to high-bandwidth memory (HBM) chips, essential for AI tasks and widely used alongside GPUs like Nvidia's. Raj Narasimhan, formerly head of the compute and networking division, will lead this unit.
