Nvidia Deploys New Location Tracking Tech to Combat AI Chip Smuggling
Nvidia has developed new location verification technology to combat the smuggling of its advanced AI chips into restricted countries. The optional software agent, which leverages confidential computing in the GPU, measures communication delays with Nvidia servers to estimate a chip's geographic location.
