OpenAI Acquires Sky to Enhance Mac Interface
OpenAI has acquired the startup Software Applications, the company behind Sky, an AI-based natural language interface designed specifically for Apple's Mac desktop computers. The acquisition aims to integrate Sky's product design capabilities into ChatGPT, allowing for deeper functionality within the macOS environment. The entire Sky team will join OpenAI to help transition ChatGPT from a simple conversational tool to one that seamlessly aids users with tasks like writing, planning, and coding.
