OpenAI Launches ChatGPT “Study Mode” with EdTech Partnerships in India & U.S.

OpenAI has introduced Study Mode in ChatGPT to promote deeper, ethical learning by guiding students through complex topics step-by-step, leveraging Socratic questioning, personalized feedback, quizzes, and scaffolded responses. The feature adapts to skill level and supports text, voice, and image input across multiple Indian languages. Available to free, Plus, Pro, and Team users—with ChatGPT Edu coming soon—it’s developed in collaboration with educators and edtech startups from India & the U.S.
