Rapido Becomes India’s Top Ride-Hailing Platform, Surpassing Uber and Ola

Rapido has surpassed both Uber and Ola to become India’s leading ride-hailing service, driven by its dominance in bike-taxi operations and rapid growth in four-wheeler services. As of July 2025, it recorded 50 million monthly active Android users, compared to Uber’s 30 million, capturing nearly 30% of the cab market. The company’s ascent has forced competitors like Uber to slash fares and rethink driver incentives.
