Samsung Profit Soars 32% on Strong Chip Demand and AI Outlook

Samsung Electronics reported a robust 32.5% rise in third-quarter operating profit, driven by the strong recovery in demand for its computer memory chips. The company also achieved record quarterly revenue fueled by semiconductor and mobile phone sales. Samsung anticipates this growth trajectory will continue, heavily supported by the increasing global investment momentum in Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications, particularly its advanced High Bandwidth Memory chips.
