Tata Motors Patches Critical Flaws Exposing 70TB Customer Data

Tata Motors confirmed it fixed major security vulnerabilities in its E-Dukaan portal, first reported in 2023. The flaws, caused by exposed AWS keys, compromised over 70 terabytes of sensitive company and customer data. This exposed trove included customer personal information, internal financial reports, and dealer scorecards. While the company stated fixes were implemented, it did not confirm whether affected customers were notified about the extensive breach.
