TCS Denies Losing M&S Over £300M Cyberattack

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) strongly refuted a UK media report claiming it lost a Marks & Spencer (M&S) contract over a £300 million cyberattack. TCS clarified the termination of its IT service desk contract followed a regular competitive review process started in January 2025, before the April cyber incident. TCS stated it is still a strategic partner on other projects and confirmed no vulnerabilities originated from its systems.
