Zoom Restores Services After Hours-Long Global Outage

Zoom experienced a significant global outage that disrupted video calls, website access, and user logins. The issue began around 2:40 PM ET, with over 67,000 users reporting problems, particularly in the U.S. and other countries. Users encountered "Unable to Connect" errors and a 502 Bad Gateway message on Zoom's website. The outage was linked to a domain registry issue, possibly a DNS-related server hold. Services were fully restored by 5 PM ET, though some users may have experienced delays.
