Google, Nvidia and Anthropic Back Emerald AI to Unlock Grid Capacity for More Data Centers

Google, Nvidia and Anthropic are joining Emerald AI’s AI Energy Management Alliance to help data centers dynamically reduce or shift electricity use during peak demand. The coalition says this approach could unlock up to 100 GW of existing U.S. grid capacity, allowing more AI data centers to connect without relying solely on new power infrastructure.
