Meta has partnered with Chinese robotics startup Fourier to build a five-foot humanoid robot prototype, codenamed "Max". Completed in just three months, the machine features expressive facial displays, chest speakers, and five-fingered hands. Designed to handle household chores, the prototype serves as an internal research vehicle for Meta’s AI software rather than a commercial product launch.
