Oil Meets Intelligence: OpenAI, ADNOC, and G42 Team Up in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi state energy titan ADNOC and AI firm G42 have signed a multi-year partnership with OpenAI to integrate advanced artificial intelligence models across energy operations. Announced during OpenAI CEO Sam Altman’s visit to Abu Dhabi for the ADIPEC conference, the deal makes ADNOC the first energy firm to deploy OpenAI’s Frontier agent platform to boost efficiency and accelerate scientific innovation.
