Satya Nadella Warns Microsoft Could Repeat DEC’s Downfall If It Fails to Adapt in AI Era
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella confessed that he is “haunted” by the fate of Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC), once a tech giant that disappeared after missing major industry shifts. He warned employees that Microsoft’s biggest businesses might become irrelevant in the AI revolution unless the company continuously innovates. Nadella also acknowledged employee concerns about a colder, more rigid culture and pledged leadership improvements.
