UN and Google Launch AI-Ready Data Platform for Global Statistics

The UN is partnering with Google to launch the UN System Data Commons, a platform that brings statistics from UN agencies into one searchable, AI-ready system. Built on Google’s Data Commons and supporting MCP, it allows AI agents to directly access authoritative data. The UN aims to integrate 80% of its statistical datasets by 2027.
