IT Majors Near 5% Revenue from GCCs Amid Digital Transformation Surge
India's IT industry is witnessing a significant shift as Global Capability Centres (GCCs) contribute nearly 5% to the revenue of top firms like TCS, Infosys, HCLTech, Tech Mahindra, and Wipro. This growth, estimated at $5–6 billion, stems from managed services, staff augmentation, and digital transformation projects. Mid-sized firms like Coforge are also capitalizing, with GCCs accounting for approximately 10% of their revenue.
